The myth Nürburgring

8 decades of racing, training, entertainment…

Top-class motorsports events, leisure activities around mobility and engines, fun and ‘edutainment’ across all ages, the queen of all race tracks was opened in 1927 and has not lost any of its fascination.

The term ‘green hell‘ originates from Jackie Stewart, since the ‘roller coaster‘ was surrounded by hedges at that time. After renovation in 1984 the traditional race track close to Adenau / Eifel was opened as the most modern, the securest and most challenging race tracks of the world.

Information to the race track:

On a total length of 28.27 kilometers, the pilotes are facing 127 curves. The highest point is at 616 meters above sea level, the lowest at 310 meters above sea level. In between there are many uphill routes and declines up to 20 percent.

As part of the Nürburgring Project 2009, the longest permanent race track of the world has developed into an all-season attractive lifestyle destination. A recreation center with roller coaster, hotel, pub district and much more invites visitors from around the world to experience first-hand top-class motorsports-events and the myth Nürburgring.
